Growing up near the famous Kingston Road Street, racing strip in the 60s was a life changer. If there ever was one story to be told, it was about Harold's desire to cruise the Danforth looking for a race. From the time he was a teenager, Harold had to make everything he owned shinier, better running, and, yes, faster!
Due to the financial restriction of a 14-year-old, Harold quickly learned there are dreamers, and there are doers. With that, he started working on his father's diesel tractors in the driveway. Trucking quickly grew into the family business, and the Middleton has pushed the limits of the industry into Ontario's first truck leasing company.
Harold loved driving trucks, but it was his love of his teenage years that made him successful. Owning a North American Trucking Company, Harold began working with Metro East Custom Car Show, Speed O Rama, and Markham Auctions as a judge.
Becoming one of the top judges in Ontario, Harold's expertise was having vast knowledge of originals and customs. These earned him many guest experiences at some of the country’s biggest events.
With Harold's efforts to help out the communities, he quickly became nationally known for his event coordination and expertise. TSN approached Harold for ideas on a TV show that would show tips on how to build cars.
Motoring 88 also had Harold as their first host. CFRB radio has used his expert knowledge in insurance and collectible cars on multiple talk radio shows. The Toronto Star described him and his family as "the family that lives and breathes exhaust."
Harold truly lives up to the billing. He studied at the National Appraisers Institute of North America in Pennsylvania, became a gold member on the board for C.S.R.A., and was the coordinator of Street Dreams Car Club.
